The Covington is a hospitality-driven, seasonal restaurant in the heart of Edgartown, MA on Martha's Vineyard. Our culinary philosophy focuses on seasonal dining, with an emphasis on island grown vegetables, locally sourced seafood, and an elevated pasta program. Our work environment provides quality and professionalism, while promoting learning and creativity. Ideal candidates will be kind, hard-working and respectful, with a passion for food and hospitality. We value enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a problem solving mentality We are looking for a saute cook capable of commanding a high volume saute station for our 80 seat dining room and bar. We offer dinner service from 5:00pm - 10:00pm, six nights per week, and are closed on Tuesdays. We offer housing at a subsidized monthly rate. We offer a weekly schedule of 50 - 60 hours per week between mid May - Mid October. We offer a core BOH and FOH management team that has been in place for many years and has established a positive work culture.
